BHCC YOUTH COUNCIL.
Over the years, BHCC leadership has looked for ways to enhance the growth and leadership skills of our youth in Broadway Heights. Thus, the inception of the BHCC Youth Council. Although there is not currently an active council due to structural changes during Covid, the Youth Council has historically been involved with projects from neighborhood beautification, fixing bikes for delivery to Mexico, educational projects, feeding the homeless, coordinating community celebrations and much more.

Youth Council member core responsibilities:

Know and accept the BHCC mission, vision and values;

Reflect on and strategize on solutions for concerns relating to youth within the community;

Represent BHCC by making community presentations and calling on potential campaigners and donors;
-
Remain in touch with the needs of the community, and move to meet those needs within the context of our mission.
